Meet the team

Meet our team of highly experienced staff, many of whom have worked in childcare for a number of years. The vast majority of our staff hold at least an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare, and 40% of our staff hold either a foundation or full degree in Early Years Education or Early Childhood. 95% of our staff hold a current Paediatric First Aid qualification and this will rise to 100% as soon as possible.

Julie Moore - Manager, DSL and SENCo

Julie joined the team in 2019 and works as Operations Manager, overseeing the day to day running of the setting and driving forward delivery of the children's education. Julie holds a degree in Early Childhood (Level 6), Qualified Teacher Status (Level 7) and is a current Paediatric First Aider. Julie is our Designated Safeguarding Lead and SENCo

Sam Scott - Deputy Manager/Honey Bees

Sam joined the team in February 2020 from another local setting and works with the children in Honey Bees, bringing a little structure to their routine before they move into Dragonflies. Sam is the architect of our shift to the Curiosity Approach. Sam holds a Foundation Degree in Early Years Education and Childcare (NVQ Level 5) and is a current Paediatric First Aider

Miss Liz - Senior Early Years Educator - Butterflies

Our babies love being with Liz. Liz has been in the Butterflies room since 2014, and has over 30 years experience in childcare. Liz holds an NVQ Level 3 in Playgroup Practice and a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

Miss Hayley - Early Years Educator - Butterflies

Hayley joined the team in March 2020 and works in Butterflies. Hayley is an NNEB Level 3 Nursery Nurse and is a current Paediatric First Aider.

Miss Gemma - Early Years Educator - Butterflies

Gemma joined the team in 2016 and works as part of the team in Butterflies. Gemma holds an NVQ level 3 in Early Years Care and Education and a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Miss Claire - Early Years Educator - Honey Bees

Claire joined the team in 2015 and works in Honey Bees. Claire holds an NVQ level 3 in Early Years Care and Education and a Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Miss Sadie - Early Years Educator - Busy Bugs

Sadie joined the team in 2017 and works in Busy Bugs. Sadie holds an NVQ Level 3 Children's Care, Learning and Development and a Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Miss Harriet - Early Years Educator - Busy Bugs

Harriet joined the team in January 2020 and works in Busy Bugs. Harriet holds an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and a Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Miss Jess - Early Years Educator - Busy Bugs

Jess joined the team in 2018 and works in Busy Bugs. Jess holds and NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Miss Sian - Early Years Educator - Busy Bugs

Sian joined the team in 2017 and works in Busy Bugs. Sian holds an NVQ Level 3 in Children's play, learning and development and a foundation degree in Early Childhood (NVQ Level 5). Sian also holds a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

Miss Nikki - Early Years Educator - Honey Bees

Nikki joined the team in 2020 and works with the children in Honey Bees. Nikki holds an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education and is a current Paediatric First Aider

Miss Anjela - Early Years Educator - Caterpillars

Anjela joined the team in 2020 and works with our children in Caterpillars. Angela is currently studying for her full degree in Early Childhood and her Paediatric First Aid Certifictate

Miss Sam - Early Years Educator - Caterpillars

Sam joined the team in 2017 and has worked with the older children preparing them for school. Sam holds an NVQ level 3 in Early Years Care and Education, and a Foundation Degree in The Learning and Development of Babies and Young Children (NVQ Level 5). Sam is also a current Paediatric First Aider and holds an Advanced Safeguarding Qualification.

Miss Martha - Early Years Educator- Honey Bees

Martha joined the team as an Early Years Educator in 2020. Martha holds an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education and a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Miss Imogen - Early Years Teacher - Dragonflies

Imogen joined the team in August 2020. Imogen holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (NVQ Level 7) and also holds Qualified Teacher Status (Level 7). Imogen is also a Paediatric First Aider.

Miss Giulia - Early Years Practitioner - Dragonflies

Giulia joined the team in 2016 and works mainly with the older children in Dragonflies, helping to prepare the children for school. Giulia holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification and is a current Paediatric First Aider.

Miss Janet - Early Years Practitioner - Dragonflies

Janet joined the team in 2016 and works in Dragonflies helping to prepare the older children for school. Janet specialises in working with children who benefit from one to one support and works closely with our SENCO. Janet is also a current Paediatric First Aider

Miss Lauren - Early Years Educator

Lauren joined the team in June 2019 and covers for holidays and absence. Lauren works across the entire setting when needed. Lauren holds a degree in Early Childhood (Level 6)
